A Cuckoo Filter-Based Name Resolution and Routing Method in Information-Centric Networking

Information-centric networking (ICN) is a new network architecture that routes content based on names to improve transmission performance. Therefore, the efficiency of name resolution and routing becomes critical issue in ICN. The bloom filter-based scheme has gained significant attention for its ability memory nodes network, but it cannot handle movement or deletion high false positive rate, which increases bandwidth consumption. In this paper, we propose cuckoo method where requests are forwarded through hierarchical structure node closest copy as much possible minimize latency. This achieves reliable removal allows summaries be exchanged between error correction information synchronization modified filter. simulation results show our can effectively reduce number positives, additional overhead caused by processing positives large-scale 50% compared with scheme.
